FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, in particular to the extraction of gold directly from brown and black coal. Method of extracting gold directly from brown and black coal in an aqueous solution involves grinding coal with water in a ratio of 2:1 by weight of coal to an average particle size of 0.3 mm, filtering the pulp to produce a liquid portion – a filtrate, from which gold is sorbed.
EFFECT: possibility of extracting gold directly from coal, without resorting to the preliminary combustion of coal, and also without using any poisonous and aggressive reagents for dissolving metal particles of gold.
