Method comprises the steps of: transmitting control information to the server; receiving information recommendations from the server, containing information in relation to at least one managed device and at least one control function, based on the control information; displaying a list of said at least one controlled device based on the received recommendation information; accepting user input to select at least one managed device that should be included in the user interface (UI) from the displayed list; displaying at least one control function corresponding to the selected at least one controlled device, based on the received recommendation information, accepting user input to select at least one control function from the displayed at least one control function, forming a user interface (UI) to control the selected at least one control function, corresponding to the selected at least one managed device, and display the generated user interface (UI).

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in management efficiency.
