SUBSTANCE: correction of deviation in the auxiliary scanning direction of a scanning line, accompanied by correction of main scanning positioning error of each sheet feeding port is not sufficient. Therefore, according to current technology, the positioning error in the direction of auxiliary scanning of an image which must be printed is corrected using a value for correcting the main scanning positioning error which was chosen based on the setting of the print position of the sheet feeding port and information on the positioning error in the direction of auxiliary scanning of the image forming device.
EFFECT: design of an image forming device, image forming system and an image processing method in which, when a sheet feeding port can be assigned, deviation in the auxiliary scanning direction of the scanning line can be reduced, accompanied by correction of the main scanning positioning error of each sheet feeding port.
