FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in the fact that for growing the crop, the land plot located in the vegetable rotation of leguminous crops is used. In August, a month before planting bulbils of garlic, on the harvested land plot, chiselling by a deep-ripper is performed to a depth of 35–40 cm. In September, the disk plowing of soil by a disc harrow is performed to a depth of 15 cm. Then, in early spring of the following year, continuous harrowing is performed by seed harrows. When a weed appears, the intertillage is performed by a sweep cultivator, and manual weeding is carried out in a row. In mid-April, bulbils of garlic are sown to seeding depth of 4.5 cm with a space between rows of 36 cm. When sowing bulbils, AgroMaster, a soluble fertilizer with a calculation of 2.5 kg/ha, is applied parallel to the row. Further, during the growing season, when a weed appears, the intertillage against weeds is carried out by a sweep cultivator. In July, garlic bulbs are harvested, which serve as planting material for growing marketable garlic. At the end of August, the prepared land plot is treated by a deep-ripper to a depth of 35–40 cm. After that, in September, before planting, disk plowing of soil is carried out to a depth of 15 cm. Before planting, the garlic bulbs are crushed into cloves and then calibrated to: small to 16 mm, medium from 16 to 20 mm and large over 20 mm. In October, the cloves are planted in open ground, while planting small, medium and large cloves separately from each other. In addition, when planting together with garlic cloves, AgroMaster, a soluble fertilizer, at the rate of 2.5 kg/ha, and a granulated fertilizer at the rate of 200 kg/ha in an amount of azophoska, are applied in parallel to the row. Following year, in the early spring, during the growing season, continuous harrowing by seed harrows is carried out, destroying the superficial crust. After that, on garlic seedlings, the soil is treated with seed harrows to a depth of 2–3 cm, in addition, a cultivator with a weeder harrow is used for intertillage.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the yield and ecological purity of the harvest of marketable garlic.
