FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geophysical surveys of cased wells in order to control the quality of casing cementing. Downhole device for acoustic quality control of cementing wells contains a sealed enclosure with an electronic unit consisting of a telemetry device, a controller, excitation pulse generator and receiver, and pressure probes with electroacoustic transducers placed on them. Electronic unit is additionally equipped with a converter switch mode. Each of the clamping probes contains one electroacoustic transducer associated with the switch mode of operation of converters. All clamping probes are installed in the same plane, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the housing, and are evenly spaced relative to each other in equal sectors.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the measurement accuracy by reducing the level of acoustic noise and interference when the instrument is moving in the well, and also to simplify the design of the device and increase its reliability and ease of operation.
