FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for heating a smoke-producing material in order to evaporate at least one component of the smoke-forming material, to products for use with such a device and to systems containing such products and devices. Device for heating the smoke-generating material to evaporate at least one component of the smoke-forming material comprises a heating zone configured to accommodate at least parts of the product containing the smoke-generating material, a magnetic field generator, configured to generate a varying magnetic field, and an elongated heating element projecting into the heating zone, where the heating element contains a heating material that can be heated due to the penetration of a changing magnetic field to heat the heating zone, wherein the magnetic field generator includes a coil and a device configured to pass a varying electric current through the coil, the coil is in a fixed position relative to the heating element and the heating zone.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to provide effective heating of the heating element.
