FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to single-mode crystalline IR light guides, which are designed to deliver IR radiation of medical solid-state lasers with a parametric frequency conversion at a wavelength of 5.75 microns. Single-mode crystalline infrared light guide includes a core and a shell made of silver chloride-bromide solid solutions. Core with a diameter of 48.0–52.0 mcm is made with a central rod in it with a diameter of 11.0–13.0 mcm, the shell is made with an outer diameter of 95.0–105.0 mcm with six rods with a diameter of hexagonal in it 11.0–13.0 mcm at a distance of 30.0–32.0 mcm between their centers, while the central core contains ingredients in the following ratio, wt.%: silver chloride 83.0–83.9; silver bromide 17.0–16.1, the core and the shell are made of crystals of solid solutions in the following ratio, wt.%: silver chloride 81.3–82.1; silver bromide 18.7–17.9, rods in the shell have the composition in the following ratio of components, wt.%: silver chloride 79.6–80.4; silver bromide 20.4–19.6.
EFFECT: provision of opportunities for timely implementation of minimally invasive intravascular operations.
