SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new microporous crystalline material of a zeolitic nature, as well as to a method for its preparation and its application. Microporous crystalline material of zeolitic nature, designated as ITQ-55, has, in the calcined state and in the absence of defects in its crystalline matrix, manifested by the presence of silanols, an empirical formula: x (M1/nXO2) : y YO2 : g GeO2 : (1-g) SiO2, in which M is selected from H+, at least one inorganic cation with a charge +n and mixtures thereof, X is at least one chemical element in oxidation state +3, Y is at least one chemical element in oxidation state +4, other than Si and Ge, x is from 0 to 0.2, both of these values are included, y is from 0 to 0.1, both of these values are included, g is from 0 to 0.5, both of which are included.
EFFECT: material is characterized by a specific X-ray diffraction pattern.
