FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for coating a building panel includes applying a first coating fluid composition containing an organic binder on the surface of the building panel to obtain at least one coating layer, wherein the first coating fluid composition is a radiation curable coating fluid composition, applying a protective coating fluid composition, which contains protective components, on the above-mentioned at least one coating layer to obtain a protective layer, applying a photocatalytic coating fluid composition containing photocatalytic particles on the above-mentioned protective layer to obtain a photocatalytic layer, wherein the protective components do not allow the photocatalytic particles to decompose the organic binder of the above-mentioned at least one coating layer, and said protective coating pourable composition is applied in a wet state to a wet surface.
EFFECT: technical result is an improved suitability for cleaning building panels, an improved ability to reduce the content of volatile organic compounds in rooms.
