SUBSTANCE: device for connection of handle with drill rod of tool for drilling hole in ice by means of manual actuation of handle includes facility for formation of connection of joint insert of handle shaft and end of drilling rod, first elements for their fixation in this position. Fastening element is detachably mounted. Said means is configured to selectively form connection of joint insertion of engine shaft and end of drilling rod instead of handle. Device additionally comprises second elements for fixation of motor shaft relative to drilling rod in this position for conversion of tool from tool for manual work into tool for operation by means of engine. Device comprises a hollow end of a drilling rod with a cavity designed for selective production of a handle shaft, as well as an engine shaft. Fixing elements comprise male elements for pushing through holes, when hole of drilling rod covers hole of handle shaft or hole of engine shaft to obtain fastening. Drill rod has one or more first holes for fixation of handle shaft and one or more second holes separated relative to first holes for fixation of engine shaft. Tool for hole drilling in ice layer comprises device for connection of handle with drilling rod.
