SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Disclosed is a method of searching information in a computer or Internet system, in scientific and literary creation, editing, finding a desired document, including search in a computer or Internet search engine, wherein text fragment to be opened is selected in information field and followed by corresponding electronic address, wherein to open a page, the search page is selected into an information field, the electronic address of which is the first letters of the first five lines on the page without spaces, to open the desired paragraph, it is selected into an information field, the electronic address of which is the first letters of the first five lines in a paragraph, to open the desired sentence, the desired sentence is selected in the information field, the electronic address of which is the first letters of the first five words of the sought sentence, to open the desired phrase, it is selected into an information field, the electronic address of which is the first letters of the first three and the last two words of the phrase, to open a word, it is selected in an information field, the electronic address of which is the first letters of the first words in front of the selected word, the first letter of the selected word and the first letters of two subsequent words without spaces, for storing the electronic address of the electronic field thereof is accompanied by a number which determines the number of letters in the electronic address; when searching electronic address is transferred into search system and required information fragment is opened.
