FIELD: lifting devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transportation of goods, namely transportation of goods placed on pallets. In the method, the gripper for gripping, moving, orienting and depositing a pallet contains gripping means for gripping a pallet at the longitudinal side elements of said pallet. Said gripper is made with the possibility of hinged installation on an automated manipulator moving along a support structure. Further, attachment means comprise a centring pin, which is designed to engage in a centring orifice provided on the upper side of the side member, and two snap locks actuated by means of an actuator and connecting means integrated in the gripper. This loading and storage system is equipped with a support structure for storing pallets with or without a load, a manipulator with grippers for gripping, moving, orienting and depositing pallets in predetermined positions on the support structure.
EFFECT: simplicity and efficiency of gripping pallets and the reliability of securing pallets on the support structure are achieved.
