FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular, to power poles, lighting equipment supports, cellular communication towers, and other devices for various purposes capable of reliably operating under high shearing and bending forces. Multi-sided pillar of a power pole, made in the form of a hollow multi-faceted trunk, at the lower end of which a connecting flange with mounting holes is fixed, provided with stiffening ribs, welded by vertical ends to the multi-faceted trunk along its bending lines, and with horizontal ends, a pad is welded to the free ends of two adjacent stiffeners fixed on one face, with the formation of a stop triangular prism with bases, which are made of stiffening ribs, which is a rigid volumetric element, with stop triangular prisms placed radially symmetrically to each other on the surface of a connecting flange, and mounting holes are evenly located on it between the stop triangular prisms.
EFFECT: proposed invention allows to increase the rigidity and strength of a multi-faceted pillar of a power pole, made in the form of a thin-walled multi-faceted trunk, due to its amplification by rigid volumetric elements – stop triangular prisms, which ensured increase in the local stability of the multi-faceted trunk with respect to the shear flexural stresses.
