FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for purification of waste water from heavy metal ions by sorption. Method comprises treatment with sorbent, settling for 3 hours in presence of finished products with dimensions of 20×20×20 mm, obtained by mixing powder gypsum with distilled water with addition of solid sodium carbonate Na2CO3 in amount of 15 % of weight of gypsum.
EFFECT: method simplifies the method and reduces consumption of the sorbent.
