FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates generally to vehicle lighting systems, and in particular to a container holder using photoluminescent structures. Illuminated cup holder assembly contains an upper portion containing a lower reciprocal portion forming a first diameter, and a main portion containing an upper response portion forming a second diameter. Light ring is located essentially between the lower response portion and the upper response portion in the assembled configuration. Cup holder assembly contains a photoluminescent section, configured to convert a wave of the first length into a wave of the second length to highlight a portion of the node of the cup holder.
EFFECT: easier use.
