SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of transport machine building. Device for illuminating hinged vehicle footstep comprises light source arranged on footrest part, first coating layer formed on part of footrest and light source, and photoluminescent part. Photoluminescent part is located near the part of footrest step part. Step part corresponds to the second formed layer of the second polymer material. Light source is configured to emit a first radiation for exciting the photoluminescent portion to emit a second radiation. According to the first embodiment, the vehicle suspended step with the lighting device contains the second coating placed over the first coating. Second coating is applied on the first coating so that light energy passes through the non-masked part of the second coating. According to the second embodiment, the vehicle suspended step with the lighting device contains a photoluminescent part located near the non-masked part of the first coating.
EFFECT: improvement of vehicle lighting.
