FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatics in geophysical instrument-making and can be used in various geophysical instruments, for example, such as seismic stations. An additional adaptation unit is introduced into the linear delta demodulator used in the known voice tracking unit, which switches the device operation to the adaptive delta modulation (ADM) mode.
EFFECT: improved quality of the audio signal after its recovery from the digital sequence, as well as increased number of control voice messages.
