FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wellhead sealing equipment during drilling with pipe rotation or when performing lowering operations with pipe string under pressure without rotation. Wellhead rotary sealer comprises hollow cylindrical housing with top cover, bottom flange and central through channel for pipe passing. In housing there installed is rotor shell in form of annular cylinder with upper and lower ends, in it rotor is installed with possibility of rotation, made in the form of metal bushing equipped with bearings. Rotor contains an elastic sealing element with elements of its fixation in the rotor. In the rotor shell there is a working hydraulic chamber between the wall of the annular cylinder of the shell and a sealing element equipped with a shutoff valve with a nozzle made in the wall of the shell. In the lower part of the shell there located is a unit for regulating the value of pressing force of the sealing element to the pipe, which contains a differential piston installed with possibility of longitudinal movement in the cylinder made in the lower part of the rotor. Shell ends are made in the form of coaxial spherical surfaces and interact with possibility of movement with mating coaxial spherical surfaces made on upper cover and lower flange of hollow cylindrical housing.
