SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image processing. Method of complexing halftone television and thermal images involves obtaining initial images determining the main channel with the highest level of information parts, calculating the average image brightness of the second channel, wherein when determining the average pixel brightness of the integrated image of the second channel for each pixel of the integrated image, depending on the selected mode, in the first mode, the sum of the pixel brightness value of the main channel image and the difference in the pixel brightness value of the second channel image and average image brightness of second channel, multiplied by correction coefficient, and in the second mode, calculating a difference in the pixel brightness value of the main channel image and the difference in the pixel brightness value of the second channel image and the average image brightness of the second channel, multiplied by the correction coefficient.

EFFECT: technical result is high quality of output image in low-light conditions, containing elements of images of the same scene, obtained in visible and infrared spectral range.
