FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a sensor for determining properties of gas, in particular combustible gas. Gas sensor for measuring gas properties includes a gas viscosity sensor comprising a portion interacting with the gas in contact with the gas to be measured and a measuring chamber system comprising a measurement chamber, first passage with high resistance, connecting fluid chamber measuring chamber with part interacting with gas, pressure generator configured to generate a pressure change in the measurement chamber, and a pressure sensor configured to measure the time-varying gas pressure deviation in the measurement chamber, wherein time-varying pressure deviation in measurement chamber due to gas flow through passage with high resistance is correlated with gas viscosity, gas viscosity sensor additionally comprises a reference chamber system comprising a reference chamber and a second passage with high resistance, communicating a reference chamber and a portion interacting with the gas, wherein the reference chamber is connected to the pressure sensor of the measuring chamber such that the pressure sensor is configured to measure the pressure drop between the pressure in the measurement chamber and the pressure in the reference chamber.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of sensor, which makes it possible to accurately measure Wobbe gas number, being compact and simple in assembly.
