ROLL-FORMED CHANNEL Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC E04C3/04

Abstract RU 2685013 C1

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction and can be used as rod and beam elements when designing bearing structures of buildings and structures for various purposes. In particular, it can be belt elements of trusses of coatings, wall crossbars or roofing girders. Said technical result is achieved by the fact that in the roll-formed channel wall the tubular flanges are conjugated to each other by means of tooth short-circuiting of the longitudinal edges and mutual support in the zone of contact of its two sheet workpieces, where inner edge of wall and shelves in cross section has shape of round semi-ring with diameter equal to wall height.

EFFECT: sufficient local and general stability of roll-formed channel from plane and in plane of bearing structure, expansion of rational application area, and also reduction of additional costs.
