SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the technology of penetration of vertical shafts and mining equipment for implementation thereof. Method of construction of the mine shaft includes the stages of development of the face in depth and cleaning of the destroyed rock, the development of the face and cleaning of the destroyed rock is carried out simultaneously and separately in technologically independent zones during the whole process of developing the face, which is carried out sequentially around the circumference in layers from the center of the face to the periphery and/or from the periphery to the center, each subsequent layer is developed with a recess per step relative to the previous layer, and the step of the recess is chosen not to exceed the ratio of the height of the rock-destroying organ to the number of layers falling on the entire area of the face. Shaft sinking combine includes a downhole frame, a rock-destroying body and a sectional shield shell. On the side of the lateral surface of the downhole frame, there are elements of translational kinematic pairs along the perimeter for interaction with the shield shell sections by means of expansion jacks and jacks of feed thereof fastened along the perimeter of the bottomhole frame. Feed jacks interact with the upper parts of the sections of the shield shell, while the downhole frame is made with the possibility of sequential stepwise displacement relative to the sections of the shield shell, and the section of the shield shell is made with the possibility of individual or group relative movement relative to the downhole frame with a working stroke of at least the height of the grip of the rock-destroying organ.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the productivity of the shaft construction process and expanding the technological capabilities of the combine by ensuring continuity and combining the processes of working the face, temporary fixing the walls of the shaft and shipping the destroyed rock, and also by providing opportunities for displacement thereof on the working step with the use of supports, both on the face and on the walls of the trunk.
