FIELD: active protection devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anti-aircraft defense means and specifically to a method of intercepting aircraft by self-guided electric propellers – EP. Method includes deploying EP launchers on the territory of the defended facility. Multiple allowable trajectories of EP are calculated to intercept dangerous aircraft with required probability of their destruction. Accumulators of the EP selected to intercept the aircraft are activated. Data on the EP flight trajectory, start of the EP and their output to the AC visibility zone by the homing head – HH EP is entered into the on-board computer (the EP computer) memory. EP homing mode is enabled to ensure the aircraft no-fire damage. Trajectory of the EP in the re-visibility zone of the HH is calculated on the EP board. EP turning is provided by reducing its track speed and shifting jet rudders in angular position corresponding to maximum aerodynamic quality of jet rudder. Angular misalignment of the axis of EP with given direction of its motion is measured by a block of sheeps. Development of the measured mismatch, output of the correcting signal to the control rudders, reduction of mismatch value to zero and maintenance of the EP axis with direction of its trajectory are performed with the help of the control computer module of the EP.

EFFECT: higher probability of AC damage due to possibility of repeated EP attack.
