FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to defense weapons in particular to complexes of aircraft (AC) self-defense against ground-to-air missiles (GAM). Complex of self-defense contains unit of multiple-charge fire modules, which are installed on separate rotary platforms on board of aircraft from the side of possible GAM attacks. Each fire module is arranged in form of single-barrelled automatic and/or multibarrelled grenade launcher with possibility of firing with supercaliber and subcaliber grenades. Optical-electronic facilities for location of attacker GAM are installed directly on grenade launchers and are connected via board computer with pilot work station and grenade exploders, which are installed in grenade launchers barrels. Every grenade is made with the possibility of determination of relative angular coordinates of GAM during grenade rotation and also with the possibility of firing errors compensation by means of controlled discharge of striking element bundle.
EFFECT: reduction of complex response time, increase of its fire rate, possibility of GAM destruction in the nearest zone.
