FIELD: turbines or turbomachines.
SUBSTANCE: subject of invention is chamber (E) of support bearing of gas turbine plant, comprising fixed wall (9), rotating shaft (5), first and second sealing gaskets (10, 20) between the wall and the shaft and a cavity (Cam) between fixed wall (9) and stator element (19), supplied by air through hole (19a) near said shaft (5). Chamber is characterized by that along surface of wall (9) outside chamber there is device (30) of air direction so that at least part of air leaving guide means, passed between first sealing gasket (10) and shaft, wherein said guide means is fed by air through air intake in cavity (Cam), spaced radially from shaft, at that, the air leaving the air intake is at a higher pressure than at the level of the said shaft.
EFFECT: problem of equilibrium of pressure outside of two gaskets of chamber is solved due to increase of pressure at input of gasket, where pressure has minimum level.
