SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drilling equipment, namely to devices for gripping and retaining core when drilling on hard and strong rocks. Core cutter consists of a casing with conical boring and channels inclined to its axis, in which locking elements are made, made in the form of U-shaped rod staples from elastically deformable material. Each elastically deformed rod is provided with a longitudinal groove accommodating rotary bodies located on the side of the core body axis. Grooves have width smaller than that of bodies of revolution.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of the core grinder.
