FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic measurements and is intended to control the values of the parameters of the magnetic field (magnetic state) of ferromagnetic objects of complex shape. Method of tomographic measurement of the magnetic state of the material of an electrical product further comprises the steps on which the distribution of the characteristic parameter of the ferromagnetic object under study, for example, magnetic permeability, is determined by a tomographic method, and, based on knowledge of the values of the characteristic parameter of the ferromagnetic object under study, calculate the required measurement parameters of its magnetic state by mathematical modeling for a given value of the current in the magnetizing coil - the level of magnetic induction and magnetic field strength in the points and volumes of the product to be controlled.
EFFECT: technical result is enhanced functionality by providing the ability to measure the values of the magnetic field parameters of ferromagnetic objects of complex shape.
