FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fire-resistant polymer composition. Vulcanised polymer composition contains a halogen-free olefin elastomer which contains a saturated basic chain and is present in an amount of more than 70 phr of the rubber relative to the polymer components. Amount of plasticizer based on mineral oil in the composition, if present, does not exceed 50 phr of a rubber. Composition contains one or a combination of different halogen-free water-releasing metal hydrates as fire retardants, wherein total amount of fire retardants ranges from 60 to 100 parts per hundred parts of rubber.
EFFECT: invention enables to provide fire-resistant properties of the composition with improved mechanical and dynamic properties.
