FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is new bitumen composition comprising bitumen and polymeric material. Polymeric material includes at least one polyolefin sterilely stabilized in the form of dispersed particles in bitumen by means of sterically stabilizing molecule consisting of two polymers. First polymer is bitumen compatible polymer internally connected with second polymer, e.g. polyolefin having functional groups, polyolefin with functional groups being connected with above-mentioned polyolefin with functional groups being connected with above-mentioned polyolefin. Composition comprises at least additional elastomeric copolymer introduced into bitumen by interwinning, physical trapping, chemical cross-linking or combination of two or more such mechanisms. Sterically stabilized polyethylene in the form of dispersed particles is percent in composition in amount of 0.5-20 wt % and at least one elastomeric copolymer is present in composition in amount of 0.5-20 wt %. Two or more different forms of polymeric materials are introduced into bitumen so as to widen acceptable temperatures of bitumen composition. Composition becomes stabilized. EFFECT: improved properties of the bitumen composition. 9 cl, 8 ex, 3 tbl
