FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment. Essence consists in the separate cooling of the inner and outer parts of the disk active element or by the end connection of its inner and outer parts to cooling radiators with different temperatures, or by attaching the inside to a Peltier element, that like the outside, is attached to a common cooling radiator.
EFFECT: technical result is a significant reduction in temperature difference in the active disk optical element and, as a consequence, a decrease in temperature shock and thermally induced radiation distortions arising in a disk laser, improving the quality of radiation and increasing the efficiency of a disk laser.
