FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser technology and can be used to manufacture disk active elements of high-power lasers that provide effective cooling of the active medium. According to the invention, in the method the dielectric reflective and antireflective coatings are applied to the active element, a metallizing coating is applied to one of the ends and an active element is mounted on the radiator, made of high-conductivity dielectric material. Dielectric coatings are applied using ionic support, the assembly of the active element on the radiator is performed by soldering without the use of a vacuum chamber or a closed chamber with a reducing atmosphere.
EFFECT: invention provides minimum losses of laser radiation in the active element while maintaining a high value of laser breakdown when operating with pulsed radiation and a minimum value of phase distortions of radiation, and also allows reducing the thermal resistance between the active medium and the radiator and obtaining the maximum uniformity of thermal contact.
