SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline valves and can be used in development of safety valves with auxiliary valve for control of main and other valves. In the method of controlling valves of a pulse-safety device (PSD), comprising operations for discharging from the cavity above the piston of the main safety valve (MSV) of the working medium volume at the stage of opening the MSV through a pulse valve (PV), filling the cavity over the MSV piston with a working medium at the stage of closing the MSV, in compliance with this invention, control of PSD valves is performed by means of additional control element and additional operations including distribution of pressure and supply of working medium to PV drive to create additional force of its opening in case of parametric PV failure or discharge of working medium from cavity above MSV piston without PV participation in case its failure. To implement the method, a PSD is proposed, which comprises piston-type MSV (1), operated under the "unloading", connected to PV (2), which is in form of a spring-loaded valve with a drive and inlet (12) and working medium discharge (13) nozzles. Note here that MSV over-piston chamber is communicated via line (25) with working medium feed / discharge branch pipe (7). Novelty is that the PSD is additionally equipped with adaptive regulator (3) installed before the MSV with the possibility of distributing pressure and supplying the working medium along three lines (26, 27 and 29). PV is made with membrane drive with possibility of supply / discharge of working medium into its sub-membrane cavity for creation of additional force of PV opening with the help of adaptive regulator (3) containing housing with inlet branch pipe (16) and with piston-type drive, to which is connected a three-position spool valve (20), connected by line (26) to branch pipe (7) of working medium discharge / supply, from the MSV above-piston cavity, by the second line forming discharge line (27), connected to nozzle (15) of supply / discharge of working medium to PV drive, and by third line (29) connected to discharge line.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of functional reliability of PSD due to introduction into its composition of additional control element in form of adaptive regulator, increasing efficiency of method of valves control and providing operation of PSD at partial or complete failure of PV.
