FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling magnetic flux. Method employs a permanent magnet with pole tips conducting the working flow into working non-magnetic gaps, as well as a magnetic shunt closing opposite poles of the permanent magnet. At the moment of current passing through the electromagnetic system winding the working flow installed in conducting pole tips is used. Parallel controlled flow is generated relative to the direction of the working magnetic flux generated by the permanent magnet by acting on at least one magnetic shunt in conditions of pre-formed power and electromagnetic characteristics. Control flow is controlled by shunt advance in direction from one pole of permanent magnet to another in coaxial holes made in pole tips. When the magnetic flux reaches the threshold value of the electromagnetic system operation, the shunt is stopped and fixed at the stopping point.
EFFECT: high efficiency of controlling magnetic flux generated by a constant high-coercive magnet from supercritical material with rare-earth elements, as well as possibility of controlling magnetic flow smoothly and/or with a small discrete pitch.
