FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: magnetic drive has two external unidirectionally magnetized poles of electromagnetic system, nonretentive-material core carrying control winding placed between mentioned external poles which is magnetized so that its polarity is always reversal to that of external poles. Drive also has at least one drive armature made of permanent magnet with pole shoes of nonretentive material. Core protrudes from control winding on at least one side. Protruding portion of core forms annular pole with hole. Drive armature is arranged coaxially in mentioned hole of annular pole for displacement between external poles of electromagnetic system. According to invention, drive armature permanent magnet is made in the form of disk made of material having residual flux density of 0.7 T at VxN max. equal to at least 100 kJ/sq.m; disk height in direction of its displacement is chosen to be maximum half its diameter.
