SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to a screen cleaner for cleaning a sieving surface of a sieve body, as well as to a screen assembly and a method of improving or modifying a sieving tray. Brushless screen cleaner for cleaning the sieving surface of the sieve body contains a rocking support passing along the main axis of the brushless screen cleaner and made with possibility of installation on the sieve bottom, wherein brushless screen cleaner is configured to tilt relative to this rocking support, at least one cleaning element with a cleaning area that does not contain brushes or bristles. Said or each cleaning area comprises a plurality of cleaning surfaces for cleaning the sieving surface. Each of the plurality of cleaning surfaces is made and arranged so that it is able to come into contact with the sieving surface along at least the contact line, as a result, when the brushless screen cleaner is rotating around the main axis, each cleaning surface cleans the flat area. Each of the plurality of cleaning surfaces is separated from each adjacent cleaning surface by a groove made in the cleaning area. Each groove extends in a direction that forms an angle with a radial direction relative to the main axis, the value of which ranges from 30° to 60°, preferably from 40° to 50° and most preferably 45°. Screen assembly includes at least one sieve body with a sieve bottom and a sieving surface, at least one above brushless screen cleaner mounted on the screen bottom. Cleaning elements, cleaning areas and cleaning surfaces are arranged and made so that, when the brushless screen cleaner is installed on the screen bottom, the screen body is at rest, and the sieving surface is tightly stretched, more than 50 % of cleaning surfaces of at least two cleaning elements is simultaneously in contact with the screening surface, but not all cleaning surfaces of all said cleaning elements are simultaneously in contact with the screening surface.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of screening surface cleaning.
