FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrophysics, in particular to constant remote monitoring of hydrophysical parameters of marine environment in the area of operation of oil-producing platforms remote from shores. Essence: monitoring is carried out in real time from the shore at a distance of up to 60 km from the coastline and at depths of up to 700 m with a reflectometer PH-307USB using a coaxial cable laid along the sea bottom with sensors lifted to the specified depth by floats. Sensors are made in the form of coaxial cable sheath ruptures.
EFFECT: possibility of detecting leakage of hydrocarbons into the marine environment during operation of offshore production facilities (platforms) located at a distance of up to 60 km from the coastline and at depths of up to 700 m, by monitoring the electrical conductivity of the marine environment in the monitored area.
