FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: brushless synchronous generator with permanent magnets includes a stator, a rotor and a device for electric current rectification. On the rotor permanent magnets are fixed, forming two parallel rows of poles with longitudinal and transverse alternating polarity. Permanent magnets are arranged in sleeves provided with covers. Stator comprises horseshoe-shaped electromagnets with one or two windings, made from amorphous iron. Number of permanent magnets on the rotor in one row, equal to n, satisfies the relationship: n = 6 + 3k, where k is an integer from the natural row, which takes values 1, 2, 3, etc. Quantity U-shaped electromagnets in synchronous generator is not less than (n-3). Stator including two or more groups of horseshoe-shaped electromagnets, axes of poles of which are oriented in space at angle of 120 degrees. Outputs of windings of U-shaped electromagnets belonging to one group are connected in series / in parallel and then connected to rectifier device for electric current rectification.
EFFECT: improved starting and operational characteristics.
