FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for conversion of thermal energy of compressed working medium into mechanical energy. Essence of invention consists in the fact that engine comprises cylindrical housing with working medium inlet and outlet branch pipes, shaft installed in housing eccentrically relative to its longitudinal axis, group of pistons, cylindrical bushing, coaxially installed in housing with formation of annular space between them. Chambers are formed between pistons, the volume of which increases in direction from working medium inlet branch pipe to working medium discharge branch pipe. According to the invention, on the inner surface of the housing perpendicular to the generatrix of the cylindrical surface there are two channels arranged opposite to each other, wherein one channel is interconnected with the working medium inlet branch pipe, and the other channel is connected to the working medium discharge pipe. Beginning and end of each channel are made so that during rotation of pistons in annular space expansion of working medium volume, which entered into chamber of inlet and outlet of working body. On one shaft there can be installed one or several successive stages of working medium expansion.
EFFECT: technical result consists in higher engine efficiency.
