FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport and other objects.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes impulse-type gas-turbine engine with two-stage compressor whose first stage is made in form of air turbine, and second stage, in form of piston compressor in cylinder of which double acting piston reciprocates under action of crank and slider. With piston moving in cylinder, air is sucked into cylinder and charged into rotating combustion chambers at compression ratio of ten and more units, and fuel is injected into chambers. Fuel injected into combustion chamber is subjected to physical and chemical treatment for period of one order of magnitude longer than that in internal combustion engine, fuel burns in constant volume, then discharge port opens and gas flow escapes to turbine blades, expands and rotates turbine which sets into operation first and second stages of compressor.
EFFECT: provision of ecologically clean engine operating on lean mixtures.
