SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to equipment for the diagnosis of power transformers, and can be used to demagnetize the cores of power transformers. Device for demagnetization of the transformer core further comprises a rectifier-inverter, made according to the bridge scheme on four fully controlled bidirectional electronic keys, one of the bridge diagonals being connected to the input terminals of the device, intended for connection to the AC network, and the other with the output terminals of the device for connecting the winding of a demagnetized transformer, and the control inputs of the keys are connected to the outputs of the digital processor.

EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the mass and dimensions of the device, a reduction in the demagnetization time, an increase in the range of current variation during the demagnetization process.
