FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of valve assembly, mainly, to gas turbine engine, and to closure design of shutoff element. Gasodynamic seal of the valve comprises a housing with a disk gate installed in it with an annular groove in the end part, an annular cover installed on the disk gate, with formation of an annular cavity between them, O-ring installed in annular cavity, and working medium supply holes communicating inlet cavity with annular cavity. Seal ring is equipped with blind radial grooves made on the side of the disk gate in the radial direction from its centre, sealing ring is made in form of segments and installed with possibility of their radial movement, segments are equipped with stop ledges made on their ends, wherein stop ledges of adjacent segments are in mutual engagement in one of extreme positions, holes for supply of working medium are made in disk shutter and connected to blind radial grooves through annular cavity, and disk gate is installed on rotary axis, passing at an angle to its plane.
EFFECT: invention provides high operational reliability and longer valve life.
