FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coal-graphite composite material. Method includes vacuum degassing of porous coal-graphite billet, its impregnation with melt of matrix alloy of lead under action of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of melt at heating above temperature of liquidus of lead alloy. Degassing is performed before dipping the porous workpiece into the melt of the matrix alloy, and before impregnation a four-layer galvanic coating consisting of internal copper, intermediate chromium and silver, and external nickel layers is applied on the porous billet.
EFFECT: higher quality of composite material.
