FIELD: metallurgy, composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely a method for producing carbon-graphite composite material. The method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite billet in an electrolyte solution, applying a galvanic coating containing copper, nickel and silver layers to it, placing a carbon-graphite billet with a galvanic coating applied in the impregnation chamber, and impregnating by the antimony matrix alloy melt under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the lead melt in the pressure chamber when heated 100°C above the liquidus temperature of the matrix alloy simultaneously with the lead melt. Vacuum degassing is carried out in a solution of nickel electrolyte containing 140 g/l of nickel sulfate, 50 g/l of sodium sulfate, 30 g/l of magnesium sulfate, 20 g/l of dry boric acid. The electroplated coating contains an additional zinc layer and is made of sequentially applied inner nickel, intermediate zinc and copper, and outer silver layers. The carbon graphite billet is placed in the impregnation chamber at the temperature of the lead melt in the pressure chamber, 5-10°С below the liquidus temperature of the lead alloy.
