Abstract RU 2689026 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dermatology and general surgery, and can be used for non-invasive treatment of palmar-plantar warts / spines. For this purpose, silver nitrate is used externally in the form of an officinal preparation "Lapis pencil". Before the therapeutic procedure, the affected skin with a wart/warts is softened by lowering into a soda-salt solution prepared in amount of 1 tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate and 1 tablespoon of sea salt per 1 liter of water at temperature of 43–45 °C. Skin is treated in the affected area and part of healthy skin for 15–20 minutes and dried. If necessary, the scarred tissues are removed with manicure forceps. Thereafter, silver nitrate is continuously applied on the treatment area, first directly on the wart and surrounding tissues and then on the non-infected skin to one centimeter outside along the entire perimeter of the affected area. "Lapis pencil" is moved from the center of the wart to the periphery of the treatment area, spirally from left to right, slightly pressing, reaching the boundary of the treatment area, including directly the wart, surrounding its affected skin tissues and plus up to one centimeter of healthy skin along the entire perimeter of treatment, silver nitrate is applied again on the treatment area, starting from the center of the wart, and so on. At that, around each large wart the entire treatment area will make a circle with diameter of up to 50–60 mm. Around each small wart the entire treatment area will make a circle with diameter of up to 10–20 mm. Treatment procedure for one wart takes 15–20 minutes: up to 10–15 minutes, every wart and affected skin around it is treated, up to 5 minutes, if healthy skin area is 1 cm outside of the affected area. Then the treated skin is air-dried. If necessary, bactericidal adhesive is used. Stage complex procedure of treating affected area and skin is performed once a day in the evening, daily. Therapeutic course is 7 to 15 days. Duration of the course depends on the number of warts/thorns, their diameter and depth of skin involvement. Treatment is performed until tissue recovery is complete.

EFFECT: method provides the sparing effect on the aetiological factor of the disease, high immune resistance of the affected region with no recurrences and minimal side effects of the treatment.
