FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to projectile throwing from shafts. Method of gas-dynamic acceleration of solid body placed in barrel with combustible mixture to high speed by means of starting acceleration of massive body and subsequent arrangement of detonation combustion mode of combustible mixture in rear part of body, providing pushing force, in which after solid body reaches required speed, ignition occurs combustible mixture. Combustible mixture is ignited from the back side of the massive body. At that, pulse detonation or continuous spin detonation is formed. Method is implemented in the device including a barrel with accelerated body, fuel and oxidizer supply system, ignition system and acceleration system of the accelerated body. Accelerated body has a special shape in form of a combination of coaxial front and rear cones connected by bases. Between barrel and accelerated body there is annular gap, and body is centered in barrel by means of guides.
EFFECT: higher speed of acceleration.
