FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to powder metallurgy, namely to detonation spraying. It may be used for acceleration and heating of powders during coating application. Fuel mixture is supplied and mixed in two combustion chambers simultaneously. Detonation is initiated in sequence, first in the antechamber by ignition device. Then by shock or detonation waves in primary or secondary combustion chambers. In side chambers formed are convergent shock or detonation waves thus providing increase of wave amplitude and speed. Powder is speeded up by shock or detonation waves and combustion products in sequence from the main and side chambers. The device has two or more combustion chambers with independent systems of supply, mixture and acoustic activation of supplied fuel mixtures. Detonation is initiated in combustion chambers in sequence with synchronisation due to constructional features of chambers coupling systems.
EFFECT: providing powder speed increase and high coating quality.
