FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to boom systems for forest machinery. Boom system comprises at least two boom parts (2, 4) connected to each other and at least one power transmission device (7, 8, 9) connected to the boom parts to displace boom parts relative to each other and the surrounding space. Boom part comprises hollow elongated element (11) and at least one group of connecting means (5, 6) intersected by turn axles to attach boom part to adjacent structure, and at least one group of connecting means (14) for connecting the control boom drive system to said element, wherein at least one boom portion is made in the form of hollow homogeneous part made from fluid material. Cross-section of element (11) is made so that it narrows to middle point of element.
EFFECT: improved design.
