FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a retaining frame for holding plug-in connector modules and for embedding a plug-in connector in a housing, respectively, for screwing to wall surfaces, wherein plug-in connector modules are inserted into retaining frame, and retaining means on plug-in connector modules interact with recesses provided on opposite parts of walls (side parts) of retaining frame. It is proposed to make retaining frame of their two pivotally connected halves and in lateral parts of retaining frame to make recesses to hold plug connector modules in form of closed on all sides holes. Retaining frame for receiving plug-in connector modules is decomposed and then closed, then plug-in connector modules are retained in retaining frame by retaining means with geometrical closure.
EFFECT: providing high mechanical stability.
