FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to retaining frame (1) for retaining plug connector modules (2), in particular for embedding plug-in connector in housing, respectively, for screwing to wall surfaces. To ensure the technical result, it is proposed that retaining frame (1) in the insert state has a butt for abutting the plug connector module (2) when inserted into retaining frame (1), at that, said butt is made so that, when plug connector module (2) is abutting against insertion, while retaining, retaining means of retaining frame and retaining means (9) of plug connector module engage with each other.
EFFECT: possibility of improved manipulation and more reliable assembly and installation of retaining frame (1) including half (4, 5) of retaining frame.
