FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in rotary electric machine rotor includes rotor core and multiple permanent magnets arranged in two-layer structure, having first layer and second layer in rotor core. Among the permanent magnets, the first and second, most external permanent magnets located closest to each of the opposite q-axes of each magnetic pole are located relative to each other such that the radial position of the extreme section on the side of the q-axis and radial inner side in the first most external permanent magnet, which belongs to the first layer, is separated by a predetermined radial distance and located on radial outer side from radial position of extreme section on side of q-axis and radially outer side in second most constant permanent magnet, which belongs to second layer.
EFFECT: invention can be used in electric vehicle.
